Re: Show Notes for 2010-03-22
Well, I kept checking back for this and now it here - yea! For some reason its not on iTunes yet. but I am currently listening to it straight from your website. This probably shall make me a little late for work, but it's worth it.
I thought that while How to Train your Dragon looked worthwhile, it being another 3D put me off due to raised ticket prices for films which may not be worth it. I am glad you liked it though, so I may get around to seeing it after all.
Now as for Smurfs, cannot wait. I watched this loyally back in the 80's, but I admit I do not recall too much of the series. I did like the Family Guy Smurf cut-always the did a few seasons back regarding the use of the word Smurf and its been more in my mind since then. The casting sounds great, so I shall make sure to catch this in the cinema.
I am holding off SG-U as I still do not have the DVDs of Atlantis and therefore have yet to watch them. I never managed to keep track of them on telly as they jumped around everywhere as usual. I am keen on the ST: Voyager concept and think they can make it work, so I anticipate this more than Atlantis.
Love the Doctor Who news, all new to me. Steven Moffat sounds as though his traditional interests in the show will suit fans right down the line. I am glad they decided to call it Season 5 as its confusing enough talking about various seasons as we stand, let alone if we were given a third season one.
Right, thanks for the great podcast again. I may need to listen to this one again as being first thing in the morning I think some of this will slip from my mind and I want to hear the Who stuff again!

Hey Ian,
Thanks for the heads-up about itunes. I have no idea what's happening - The RSS feed is working in Feedburner and in Google Reader, and as far as I can tell, the files are all okay.
The best solution I've been able to find after an hour of hunting around on the web is "Wait a day", so I'll keep hunting for a better answer.

Can I make a request that there be an additional way to download the podcast for people who don't want to install iTunes? That would be fabbo!

Oh and speaking of Paul McGann, this was the first bit of film I remember seeing him in.
Not an auspicious start

Baralier, you just need to right click and save the mp3 file that is posted as a link in the title of the podcast post header.
If you prefer RSS, there is a RSS Batman symbol on the website too

Thanks, I do have the podcast set to "manually check" as I know its online when I see it on the home-page. It did download fine when I tried after work. And yes, I am listening to it again. I am hopeless, I know.
While I am back here, I shall throw forth my excitement of the news we shall see more of the TARDIS. Last time we saw any real depth to the Mark III was back in a Baker story where it looked suspiciously like a factory. We did get to see lots of cement, piping, and old infirmary, and the bath (actually a pool). So to hear of three levels, wow. Always keen on a mix of steam punk, I cannot wait to see what Moffat can create - especially with a library. A pool too? Will we see the Doctor in Speedos? He still will be wearing more than Pertwee was in his first story! As for the christmas special and the full season six, glad to hear this officially confirmed. Neil Gaiman already owned up to writing an episode for season six earlier this year, though he gave away no details.
Sorry, I tend to babble in fanboy at times. Always love the Who content in your pods! :-D

Wasn't there a Davison story where they were wandering around in the TARDIS a lot? I remember the cloister bell, the Zero Room, etc. Maybe I'm getting my Doctor's mixed up.
Glad that iTunes has finally got it's act together. I have no idea what happened, but I'm glad that it sorted itself out.

Quite right, Mr. ZenBubble. We also saw companion bedrooms in his era (as with the First Doctor). Oh, now you mention it, the Eighth Doctor's movie showed quite a bit of the interior too.
