Star Wars: Dawn Of Defiance RPG
Hey Gang,
Just for fun, I thought I'd give you all the lowdown on the Table Top role playing game that I'm in the middle of running.
A couple of the forum members here are playing in the Star Wars RPG that I'm running - I'll let them dob themselves in
We play every second Thursday night for a couple of hours.
The game is set a couple of months after the events of Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith. The characters are a Human Soldier, a Human Force-sensitive from Dathomir, a Twi-Lek Jedi, and a Chiss wanderer/ass kicker.
I'll try to keep everybody up on their adventures below,
-Chris

Session 1
The adventure started out with out heroes finding themselves on Sel-Zonn station in orbit around Brentaal. While hanging around in a disreputable bar, they noticed a shady character speaking into a hidden comlink. They had decided to investigate, when a woman wearing greasy mechanics gear entered the promenade being pursued by Imperial agents.
She stumbled towards the players who immediately leapt to her defence. Three of the group "dissuaded" the Imperials from continuing their pursuit while the last of our heroes assisted the wounded mechanic in making a discrete escape.
After the Stormtroopers had been dealt with, the players reconvened in the quarters of Maya, who turned out to be an agent of the Alderaanian Security Force. She had been dispatched by Senator Organa to receive a cargo payload from an Alderaanian spy, with whom she was to rendezvous on the station. Unfortunately, she had been intercepted by Imperials immediately upon arriving on Sel-Zonn, and would not be able to make the pick up. She requested that the heroes make the pick up in her place, and gave them the details of the pick up.
The heroes made their way into the lower levels of the station, where they met up with a black market trader by the name of Switch. Switch also happened to be a jet-black protocol droid. After much negotiation with Switch, the heroes were advised that the Alderaanian cargo could be found in storage on Blue deck - the most elite, heavily policed part of the station.
No sooner had negotiations completed when in burst Ganga Lor, a Chevin black marketeer. Lor had found out that Switch was dealing with Alderaanian security, and was "upset" at being left out of the deal. Our heroes were caught in the middle of the fight between the two gangs, but after dispatching Lor's men, made their way to Blue Deck to retrieve the cargo ...

Re: Star Wars: Dawn Of Defiance RPG
I'll dob myself in
LOL
~*~*~*~
I'm playing a Chiss wanderer.
She doesn't like authority figures all that much and so she left her homeworld before it became too much more of an issue there.
Since then Raven (that's the shortened version of her name) has been traipsing across the galaxy with a brash pilot.
They took on two others along the way, a hotheaded ex-solider and a Twi-lek Jedi who's trying to stay alive, and things were going fine...
... that is until the pilot she saw fit to align herself with lost his ship in a game of Sabbacc!
Damn fool!
~*~*~*~
It's been a lot of fun and picking on each other

Re: Star Wars: Dawn Of Defiance RPG
Next am I to dob myself in
I'm playing the purple Twi-Lek Jedi named Bilekk.
He's trying to stay out of the radar of the imperials long enough to see the Jedi return to power, but isn't doing a good job of it so far. His need to be the good guy is getting him shot. He's traveling with the hot head Ex-Clone war soldier, only because they worked together during the war, and has been trying to keep him out of trouble since.
Didn't help when he decided to shoot out the only light source in the storage bay in down below when two of the companions have light sabers and one has glowing eyes. Can you say target practice
It's a good adventure to lean the M&M system. Having alot of fun.

Time to dob myself in as the Human Force-sensitive from Dathomir named Talon Dansu, myself and my Chiss friend seem to be the only ones in our party who haven't been injured the so called Jedi and the Ex-Soldier are always getting themselves hurt and relying on us to help them out.
And what kind of Muppet shoots the only light in a cargo bay....dam grunts.

You should get a web cam and some streaming happening, I'd love to watch.
P.S. not in a creepy kind of way, but now that I've mentioned it, I guess you are thinking it... sorry.

I've thought about doing actual play recordings and podcasting it, but our sessions are now pushing 8 hours long, since we only go once a month, and there is no way that I'm editing that (working on the editing takes three times as long as recording rule *shudder*)
