Unintentional collections
We all collect this series, or that model, or some merchandise, but I realised today that I have an odd collection I never intended to amass. Apparently, I collect tea. I do not know when this started or how my kitchen bench became over run with strange varieties, but I must have a problem to need such an assortment or red, green, black, hibiscus, and goodness knows what else tea. Other strange occurrences in my home include an army of inflatable Doctor Who monsters who live onto of my cardboard TARDIS, a suspiciously large range of candles, and not so much unintentional but a surprising number of nerdy (though not obviously so) T-shirts - they must be pushing fifty and I do not regularly wear any of them. I knew I brought too many DVDs and book which I never have time to use, but I did not realise just how encompasing a range of unexpected collections I acquired over the years.

Re: Unintentional collections
Haha! I totally have the huge number of geeky t-shirts.
I can't help but buy them & I love them all.
I know there are a few I haven't worn yet, but I do try to wear them all at least once.
I've ended up with a massive plush toy collection over the years.
Plenty of geeky ones like Star Wars & Batman, some fun cartoon ones like Eek the Cat, Catdog, & Angry Beavers, and some nifty animal ones like lemurs, bats, thylacines, etc.
I've donated a ton to charities, sold some at markets, and given so many to one particular family, with three kids, that the parents have now asked me to stop as they can't house all the toys they now have, lol
I've been selling off my DVDs cheaply and upgrading to Blu-ray.
Now I'm wondering if I should be skipping Blu-ray and just going with HD downloads through my PS3 and iTunes.

Re: Unintentional collections
Well, I think I will need to upgrade my Next Gen DVDS when they start re-releasing them with all the remastering. Oh, my poor bank account. That said, I still need to watch Voyager and Enterprise, so maybe I should do that first.
