2011 Brisbane/Melbourne Supanova

The announcements for the Bris/Melb Supanova in April have been coming in steadily, and I'm not going to list them all, but of a particular highlist for me are:

Christopher Llyod. That's right, Judge Doom from Who Framed Roger Rabbit will be gracing us with his presence (commitmnents allowing).

Clare Kramer. Glory from Season 5 Buffy.
Julie Benz. Darla from Buffy and Angel.
Tahmoh Penikett. Helo from the reimagines Battlestar, and Ballard from Dollhouse.

Tom Taylor and Colin Wilson. These are the guys making comics in the Star Wars: The New Jedi Order series. Good to see another Australia duo creating some of that story.

Kirby Krackle. Saw them announced, was intrigued, looked them up. Pretty good.

Apparently Christopher Lloyd had to pull out, literrally at the last minute.
He was waiting for his car to take him to the airport, and got a call to say he is filming on a pilot this Friday.

They also announced that they are bringing him back to Brisbane and Melbourne in November. Which is pretty good treatment of the fans. And allows us to save money.

Oh, and as of next year, Supanova will now be running six times per year: Melbourne/Gold Coast, Sydney/Perth, Brisbane/Adelaide.

Yes, I know I can travel to Sydney or Melbourne, but it's the principle of the thing, dag-nabit!
