How to Choose Your Next RPG Campaign

Post by Anestis on Sun Jan 23, 2011 10:02 am

Here's a flow-chart on how to choose your next RPG Campaign:

The Flow-Chart will evolve as more RPG's are added so here is the link to the original article:

How to Select an RPG

The only thing I disagree with is the chart says Warhammer (Fantasy Roleplay) requires lots and lots of mini's.

Not true, or true, depending. I think D&D 3/3.5/4 requires just as many, or you can use none if your GM is good enough (except maybe in 4E), or just use pieces of paper/card with the NPC's names, or even use Tiny Teddy's and eat the dead NPC's.

I I love you the fact that I ended up on my first love: Marvel's FASERIP system!
In fact, when choosing the Supers for Marvel, DC, or Other, I landed on the correct ones for what I prefer playing.

I looked but couldn't find In Nomine or Castle Falkenstein.
Will have to think what to suggest as things that set them apart.
Love both of those!

My problem with chosing my next campaign to run is that I'm always attracted to the new shiny - so what I want to run next changes about every 48 hours.
