Favourite Humorous Quotes?
Thought I would ask:
Have any of you heard a humorous saying that pokes fun at 'geeks'?
I love the one on the simpsons where Mark Hamill tells Homer to "use the Forks" soooo funny

Re: Favourite Humorous Quotes?
I absolutely love quotes.
I love the fact that a single comment can sum something up so well that people will refer to it time and time again!
I'm very proud of being a geek so the first quote about geeks I thought of when I read your post was the altered quote of 'The geek shall inherit the Earth', and I quite like 'There's no place like 192.168.1.1', but my all time favourite geek quote is 'There are 10 types of people in the world: those who understand binary, and those who don't.'

My signature has one of my favorites, from the matchbox in the Young Ones. It also sums up most of my posts on forums.
Another quote that I loved from the Young Ones was when Vivian says "it's OK guys, I always poo before I get up."

Bottom?
Filthy Rich and Catflap?
Never really watched either of those too closely.
Did you know that Adrian Edmondson is married to Jennifer Saunders, and that HER comedy partner Dawn French is married to Lenny Henry?

Re: Favourite Humorous Quotes?
And the answer is... Comic Strip Presents "Mr Jolly Lives Next Door" with, as you just mentioned, pretty much everyone you listed (except Lenny Henry) Throughly recommend looking up Comic Strip Presents... comedy gold.. if not.. well I think we can hook you up
As much as I think it would be great to have them all over for a Dinner party, I wonder if when the pressure is off to be funny they just talk Gordon Brown and Why the Door to Number 10 ir in desperate need of a good window treatment.

Love the Marx Bros.
These two stick in mind at the moment.
Groucho (taking Harpo's pulse) "Either he's dead... or my watch has stopped"
and
Groucho (about Harpo to Chico" "You love your brother don't ya?"
Chico "No! But I'm used to him"

One time at one of the Armageddon dinners Dave Wittenberg did his fave Simpsons line in character.
