Wendy Rule

I’m lucky enough to live in the same city as my favorite music artist, so I recently went to one of her performances at the Northcote Uniting Church (before she left to tour to the USA), which I thought was awesome a witch singing in a Catholic Church , great acoustics, I thought she was fantastic, listening to Wendy live is an experience.

I had a chance to buy her latest album “Guided by Venus” which I am currently enjoying. Similar to most of her past albums, but also very different. First time I listened to it I gota say I actually didn’t like it, I didn't know why and it surprised me, I thought that my tastes had changed. I gota admit I was listening to it while cleaning the house and was on in the back ground. So I went back and listened to all of Wendy’s past albums, yep I still enjoyed listening to them. Then I listened again and found that I enjoyed it more the second time, have listened to it a few more times since then and am now really enjoying the new ummm I guess sound (but sound is not the right word, but it’s the best I could come up with this early in the morning) I don’t think her style has changed.

If any of you are fans or just enjoy Wendy’s music I would like to know what you think.
