Monster Hunter

Has anyone played any of the Monster Hunter series. I haven't yet and am wondering if I should go the PSP version or the new Wii one (or even wait for a new PS3 version?)?

I haven't played it before (I really wish I had more time to game!).
I'd be interested to see what it would look & play like on a release for PS3.

I haven't played any but Good Game had a review on it a week or so ago on the Wii

As above I watched the review by Game last week. Looks amazing and I feared I would never see anything on the Wii that would make me think about actually buying a game for myself.

The format looks good. Upgrade weapons with apparently a gazilion combinations to enhance your character rather than the more traditional levelling system. The graphics was surprisingly good too!

If you pick it up, would love to hear more about it.
