Guys and Gals, we hope you enjoy this mega-short cast!
We tried to tough out a number of things working against us this week, so that we'd still have something to release, and we hope it's still okay for your listening pleasure Smile

Next week sees us busy Thursday night with Corin Nemec, Friday night with Henry Rollins, Saturday day with Supanova, Saturday night with Geena Davis, Sunday day with Supanova, and Sunday night with The Dark Lurking (still happy to go as a group with anyone else interested!)... so it may be another short one due to the amount of awesome fandom stuff we're doing, but hopefully we will still have something for you all Smile

Short cast suited for me - I had time to listen to it this morning before getting ready for work!

Star Wars - I think this would work well enough, on the assumption its not overly self-referential and they produce something within that universe that stands alone.

Doctor Who - Adventure Games sound wonderful; I look forwards to seeing how these work, especially if they tie-in to the series properly. I hope its downloadable outside the UK, although all the games the produced for the new series are currently downloadable outside the UK.

Street Legal Viper - Sweet; judging by Cylon's ability to shoot them in the series, I think any driver is safe from gang-related drive-by shooting! Personally, I liked the Starbug from Red Dwarf's Back to Earth better.

All Your Base - Will be stuck in my head all day!

I'm holding much hope for the Star Wars comedy. Like I said, Tag and Bink. They were a bunch of really good comics, and absolutely hilarious.

You liked Carbug? I'm not a fan of the whole "Back to Earth" series. i thought they focussed too much on trying to emulate/parody/rip off Blade Runner, and not enough on being Red Dwarf.

... and All Your Base is my all time favourite meme, so I'm glad you're a fan too now Smile

Hey All, also a thumbs up for the shorter cast, mainly because I have podcasts I have on in background at work, and some that I actually want to LISTEN to (eg this one) so when I saw it would fit nicely into my lunchbreak/powerwalk, boom, it went into the lunch playlist.

Star Wars Comedy, I think Seth will do a good job... there is a lot of good material, as long as he avoids the "two Mandaloian's walk into a bar... you'd think the second one would have seen it" aBoom tishhh.

And looking forward to Supanova Melbourne, hoping to take the family. Introduce the munchkin to the joy of geek.

Guys, I think it was this podcast you mentioned the Night Watch movie. Go read the books, they are fantastic. It plus Day Watch, Twilight Watch and Last Watch form the Night Watch quartet by Sergei Lukyanenko. It's very different to your usual "wizards/vampires/etc. live invisibly beside humans" standard story.
