Hey Chris, there is nothing wrong with an "explicit" tag. in some cases it is almost a promo!

True, explicit can work in your favour at times, but we're trying to keep it clean... and you should know that can be a major battle for me

I heard you mentioned my comment on the show and I'm sort of glad that I didn't make the other comment I made elsewhere. I mentioned that I thought that Smith could end up being a better Doctor than Tennant.

So Chris, You mentioned that you can't get a movie ticket less than $12. Our local theater in Goulburn currently has tickets for only $7. My wife also recently got a book of ten tickets cheap, $40 for the book, so we get to see movies here for only $4. It was good when I went to the midnight screening of Star Wars Ep3 for $6 before they put the price up a whole dollar.

And the Iron Man fragrance........ Hmmmmmmm, It could have been worse, but not by much.

When I arrived home at 10:30 last night I popped onto iTunes to download this so I could listen to it as I awoke at 3:45 this morning! Tell you what, it got me out of bed and for me that's saying something!

Intro: Richard Hatch - The podcast is silent for the first 20 seconds, I missed out on Hatch! I wondered why there was no introduction this time, although I initially thought I might have missed it due to kettle boiling (not the case). That said, I checked out the audio link of your main page and it plays fine there.

JD Sharpiro apologises - I remember anticipating Battlefield Earth so much I even brought a souvenir book they released; however, I never ended up seeing it. To this day I cannot recall why, but I must catch it one day just to see if it lived up to my youthful anticipations. Somehow I suspect not.

New Godzilla film - Love all the Godzilla and Gamera films, I have them all through various forms of video, VCD, and DVD. I almost, so very almost, brought the Japanese release all all the films in a Godzilla Final Box Set along side Godzilla's head. As the discs were Japanese only without subtitles, and quite expensive plus postage, I did not buy. I regret that choice though, one day I will buy this if I can ever find it again. So yeah, pumped about this as I doubted we would see another Godzilla film after the last one. Strange, but I would be more interested in seeing a sequel to the American one. I loved that film, Godzilla barely destroyed anything, the Americans blew it all up themselves!

Scream 4 (& 5) - Should be good as I loved the first two; I am glad so many of the originals will be returning, rather than just recasting as seems to be the trend.

Smurfs minus Tarantino - Shame, although the film will still be fan-smurfing-tastic.

Supanova - Shall be at the Melbourne one, promoting the DWCV wearing Timelord robes! And in case you are wondering, I have no shame!

Star Trek - I would have gone to this if it were local, I am quite interested in hearing Ethan Phillips and Rene Auberjonois. Denise Crosby would be good value too. Not sure why, but I am not really fussed with classic or TNG guests; I am more a DS9/Voy enthusiast.

Iron Man scent - I guess Iron Man does come across as a bit of a w***er at times...

Esslack Midas Touch - I cannot see any practical application for this, but it does make me wonder just how do you get the job of designing edible spray paint in the first place...

Did anybody listen all the way through? Did you all hear the song at the end?

I thought I would be polite and not mention it ;-)

Actutally I was not sure what it refrenced, though it made me smile anyway.

I heard it but wasn't sure what it was all about.
So I'm not as cool as all the cool kids.

If you guys follow the link in the show notes, it takes you to a YouTube video that shows Tay Zonday singing the song.
Near the start he puts up a line of info explaining "I move away from the mic to breathe in".
Does it make sense now?

... and if you've followed the link, I'd like to paraphrase Jeff Fahey in The Lawnmower Man:

"Now Tay Zonday's in YOUR head" Smile
