Nice videos. I never found any interest in the Transformers toys, or really any of the Japanese or American shows from that era. The only cartoons I tended to watch would have been Warner Brothers. It's only as I get older and that I do enjoy these nostalgia trips. While I may not hold a specific interest in the show behind it, I enjoy hearing and reading about toys from the 70s and 80s.

I can recommend The Bumper Book of Fads and Crazes by Richard Lewis and Just Can't Get Enough (Toys, Games, and Other Stuff from the 80s that Rocked) by Matthew Robinson and Jensen Kars if you ever want to read up on toys and the like from that era.

I five stared your videos while I was there, its disappointing that more people have not watched them. I hope you keep posting them as I plan to watch.

I just watched your Clayface video last night.

You really didn't like that toy, did you?

The toy is OK,but as a collector I didn't like the gimmick,I mean in only a day the paint was coming off the arms.

Just watched the Universe Countdown review.

This missile is freaking HUGE! I think the designer was trying to compensate for something Smile

Thought that the multiple weapon attachments for the Planet Key weapon was a pretty cool idea, and I like that they're not just something loose that you're going to lose.

... and thanks back to you, sir, for the shout out Smile

The phrase "for those who don't know" usually applies to me! :-)

Is it just me or did You Tube change their page layout? I don't like change...

Dude - Nice review.

Didn't know you were such a Captain America fan. I just bought a Cap t-shirt a couple of weeks ago - the "Shield" logo design.

I've been reading Cap for a couple of years now. I jumped on a little while before Steve was killed, and I've been following all through the Buckycap storyline. I'm really glad Steve is finally back, and now we have TWO Caps!

Glad they arrived safely
I feel bad for you having recording issues... re-recording with the same enthusiasm is always hard!

I can't believe you didn't have that particular Transformer... first thing I thought of when you won was that it would probably be a double up for you!

I know most DVD players here are region free out of the box, so hopefully the discs work there for you too. If not, eBay them and get yourself some local ones

Thank you for filming the unboxing! It was fun to watch

Just be careful when changing the region on your PC as some computer DVD players only allow a certain number of changes before they lock permanently.

Redoing factual work is not too bad (I needed to redo a masive database update last year after a computer crash and I did it in a fraction of the original time as I knew how I wanted everything); however, whenever I need to rewrite an article or filler for Sonic I can never write as well the second time. I tend to chose words carefully the initial time, but on a rewrite I generally condense my thoughts and cramp up with word choices.

I believe it would be harder still infront of a camera or microphone as you need to keep flowing, where as writing I can pause to think of the best phraise - or edit it back simply afterwards. :-)

I'm a bit behind on your videos, but I'm catching up! Smile

Your friend Ivan is really good!
I can't believe how quick he is able to do those three t-shirts!
I love the middle one because I'm a complete sucker for pink & blue together, lol.

Also really enjoyed your 50 random things I own vid!!!
I love that idea and if I knew how to use my camera as a video I would possibly even try it Very Happy
Maybe I could do a photographic & text version... but it would be very dull compared to your vids!

Post by Darth Salem on Tue May 11, 2010 7:27 am

hey there Cybertron Ax,
not sure what I'm doing wrong or what I might be doing with my browser, but all your youtube object links are just appearing as HTML code. Most other youtube forums links seem to work, so it appears a little random.

and so on and so forth...

But a little cutting and pasting works a treat to see the vids.

Is anyyone else getting this, if not, then I know it's just my problem, and dang it I have enough problems without my browser hating me ..

I'm getting the vids here Darth Salem.
I'm using Chrome 5.0 if that's any help.

There are forum display issues currently happening with quote/spoiler/etc tags as our hosts work on changing the display, but not sure if that is affecting your youtube link display.

Found the problem, and it was user error (mine, I'll fess up)

Given I'm slightly paranoid about malicious code I had the user preference to ALWAYS DISPLAY HTML CODE set to off. I twigged to the solution when I saw the forum when NOT logged in and everything worked fine. I guess I'm just used to using a product called NOSCTIPT which allows me granular control over some web stuff and I turn bits of web pages on as I need them.

So I hope this may help other people>
